Physical education began with the beginning of human civilization. However, it was only after the establishment of various theme museums in various fields that physical education revealed its value as a museum. So far, museums in Korea and the year have focused mostly on displaying the cultural phenomenon of sports based on high public popularity. From now on, we will present the direction of the National Sports Museum, which will be built for the first time in Korea, by analyzing the exhibition and operation of existing museums. First, various kinds of artifacts related to the history of physical education emerged in the context of history, cultural background, and communities. It is at the point of the museum s exit that it must provide information enough for visitors to understand by conducting sufficient research on him. Secondly, physical education has developed through harmony with mental civilization, not mere physical civilization. Given this, the gym should avoid any distortion of its facts and interpretations, reproduction of myths, and its excessive praise of sports heroes. And it is necessary to show together the sports, history and culture of the time. With this, I hope that the museum will open its doors to celebrate, preserve and systematically manage the footprints of Korean sports through the values of the formula.
