Objective : The purpose of this study is to investigate general characteristics of occupational therapists and, physical therapists sexual knowledge and sexual Attitudes about the elderly, and the relationship between them. Method : The subjects of this study were 248 physiotherapists and occupational therapists working in clinics such as elderly nursing homes, general hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, university hospitals, and private hospitals. Result : The total score of sexual knowledge was 70.713 ± 11.221 and the total score of sexual Attitudes was 81.81 ± 18.72. The knowledge of the elderly was increased significant with age, marriage, clinical career, health, and meeting with the elderly. There was a correlation between sex and sexuality in men rather than women, more people with lower age, more people with less clinical experience, and better treatment with oneself. The factors affecting sexual knowledge of the elderly were the scale, sex, and age that fit well with their inclination, and the only factors that affect the sexuality were the ones that fit well with their inclination. Conclusion : In order to maintain a close relationship with the elderly, it is necessary to have appropriate sexual education and intervention programs in order to maintain a close relationship with the elderly, and it should be implemented at various places such as university hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, private clinic etc.
