The purpose of this study is to synthesize and indentify the stydies that delineated the relationship between emotional labor and job satisfaction in clinical nurses in Korea. Seven computerized databases were searched, including RISS, Koreanstudies Information Service System(KISS), DBpia, KMbase, KoreaMed, National Digital Science Library(NDSL), nanet. Only papers published in Korean were included. According to the research, fifteen studies, from 254 reference screened, were included the final analysis. All studies were non-experimental and used correlational analysis. All studies were found a significant negative relationship between emotional labor and job satisfaction. According to result of the research, it should be sought to prepare Effective institutional measures in order to lower level of emotional labor of nurses and to raise job satisfaction, and it is also required to make positive efforts to provided high quality caring service through support for more open and humane organizational culture.
