Recently, as baby boomer generation retirement get accelerated, which grew up in a radical economic growth and high educational environment, the needs that were not present were manifested and they are now called as the new silver generation. Through in-depth interviews with professionals who can systematically prepare for retirement and research of New Silver Generation, this study identified them in detail. They wanted to find new jobs even after retirement, not to lose their self-esteem, to maintain relationships with others, and to gain social affiliation through continuous economic activities. However, there was no special retirement plan and there were difficulties in preparing for old age because of worries about their family and children. The purpose of this study is to propose the design of retirement service using smart devices by establishing design principles and identifying opportunities to solve the above difficulties of new silver generations.
