청소년에게 정신건강의 문제는 전 생애 발달의 과정에 있어 대단히 중요한 문제이다. 특히 최근 증가하고 있는 청소년 문제나 범죄는 청소년의 정신건강과 밀접한 관련이 있다. 청소년에게서 발견할 수 있는 심리적 장애 및 문제 행동은 다분히 청소년을 둘러싼 환경의 영향에서 비롯된다. 이러한 관점은 청소년에 대한 생태학적 접근을 통해 이해할 수 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 청소년의 정신건강에 영향을 미치는 생태체계 변인을 파악하고, 그 중에서 청소년을 둘러싼 개별 환경들 간의 상호작용이라고 할 수 있는 중간체계 변인이 청소년의 정신건강에 어떠한 매개적인 역할을 하는지에 대해 실증적으로 탐구하고자 하였다. 연구결과 조사대상 청소년 중의 11.8%가 정신건강에 문제가 있을 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 청소년의 정신건강은 대체적으로 각 생태체계 변인과 유의한 상관이 있었다. 특히 부모의 사회적 지지와 부모 간 갈등 수준, 부모와 학교의 관계, 그리고 부모의 감독 및 통제 수준이 정신건강에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 중간체계 변인은 생태체계 변인이 청소년의 정신건강에 미치는 영향에 있어 매개적 효과를 발휘하는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과로 볼 때 청소년을 둘러싼 환경, 특히 가정과 학교는 청소년의 정신건강에 매우 중요한 영향을 줄 수 있으므로, 부모가 학교에 대해 적절한 관심을 가지고 자신의 자녀를 신뢰하는 것이 무엇보다 중요하다는 결론을 도출할 수 있었다.
The issue of the adolescent health is very important in the developmental stage of their life. Juvenile delinquency or their issues which is increasing day by day is closely concerned with the adolescent health. The mental deficiency and problem action that can see adolescents arise from the influence of circumstance around them. This point understands the ecologic approach on adolescents. This study grasps ecosystem variables which influence adolescents' mental health, and interim system variables analyzes positively how adolescents' mental health influence to them. The results are as follows: Firstly, 11.8% in the subject of study is to show having problem in the mental health. Adolescents' mental health meaningly relates to ecosystem variables. Especially, their parent ,s social position, complications level, the relation between their parents and school and the level of parent's supervision or control is to show influencing adolescents' mental health. Secondly, interim system variables is to show ecosystem variables influence medium effect to adolescents' mental health. In conclusion, in comparison with the results of this study, it is very important that all parents have appropriate concerns and trust their sons and daughters because surroundings around adolescents or a home and a school have great influence adolescents' mental health. keyword : adolescent, mental health, ecosystem variables
