The purpose of this experimental study was to examine the effect of the fairy tales following story making on young children s linguistic expression and creativity. This study focused on the following questions: 1. Does fairy tales following story making influence linguistic expression(expression vocabulary number, sentence number, sentence length)? 2. Does fairy tales following story making influence linguistic creativity (fluency, flexibility, originality)? The results of this study are as follows: First, there were significant effects of linguistic expression(expression vocabulary such as adjective, adverb, pre-noun and sentence length) to fairy tales following story making group(p< .05). Second, there were significant effects of linguistic creativity(fluency, flexibility, originality)to fairy tales following story making group(p< .001).
