본 연구는 도심산업시설의 활성화와 지속가능한 도시재생의 방법으로서의 최적화된 건축적 해법을 제안하고자 하는 연구로서 소규모 인쇄업체의 집중에 의하여 형성된 서울시 충무로 인쇄산업지역을 그 대상으로 이 지역 인쇄업의 특성에 최적화된 건축적 해법을 제안한다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 연구대상지 인쇄업의 생산네트워크의 구조를 파악하였고 이를 건축계획을 위한 공간네트워크로 치환하여 네트워크 개념을 적용한 계획안을 제안하였다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 계획안의 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 수요자 측면과 공급자 측면에서의 각각의 산업네트워크가 독립적이며 유기적인 관계를 갖도록 한다. 둘째, 인쇄업의 생산구조를 바탕으로 입체가로의 도시 공간네트워크를 제안한다. 셋째, 도심주거에 적합한 주거공간의 네트워크를 구성할 것을 제안한다. 본 연구에서 제안된 입체가로의 도시 공간네트워크는 도시공간의 활용도를 높이고 도심산업시설로서의 산업적 효율성을 높일 수 있는 도시재생계획의 기본적 틀로서의 역할을 한다.
The purpose of this study is to propose an optimized architectural solution as a method of revitalizing urban industrial facilities and sustainable urban regeneration. The proposed site of this study is the printing industry cluster of Chungmu-ro which is formed by the concentration of small-scale printing companies. For this purpose, this study proposed an architectural design plan that applies the concept of the production network by grasping the structure of production process of the local printing industry. The contents of the proposal of this study are as follows. First, the network of the printing industry in terms of the consumer side and the supplier side has an independent and organic relationship. Second, this study proposed a three-dimensional urban spatial network based on the production system of the printing industry. Third, this study proposed to construct a residential network suitable for urban dwellings. The urban spatial network proposed in this study plays a role as a basic framework of urban regeneration which can enhance the utilization of urban space and increase the industrial efficiency as urban industrial facilities.
