화해와 용서의 문제는 종교적 성격이 짙은 논제이다. 인간을 근본적으로‘종교적 인간’으로 규정하는 융의 분석심리학에서 화해와 용서의 문제는 심리학과 종교가 교차하는 지점에서 해명된다. 융의 분석심리학에서 본 화해와 용서의 문제를 논구하는 데 있어 먼저, 융의 분석심리학의 구성원리의 근거가 되는 헤라클레이토스의 ‘대극의 합일’ 개념에 대해서 살펴보고자 한다. 다음으로 화해란 대립되는것 간의 적절한 균형을 찾아가는 것인데, 그러한 화해의 양상을 의식과 무의식, 자 아와 그림자, 페르조나와 아니마․아니무스처럼 정신을 구성하는 요소들 간에서, 더 나아가 동서양의 사유방식 간에서 찾아보고자 한다. 끝으로 창세기의 요셉내러티브에 나타난 용서의 원형적 의미를 탐구하고, 고백으로부터 용서에 이르는 상징체계로서 고해성사 모델과 심리상담 모델을 살펴보고, 우리에게 실천적 과제로서 용서의 태도가 요청됨을 제시하고자 한다.
The issues of reconciliation and forgiveness are related with a religious theme. In Jung’s analytic psychology which considers human as homo religiosus, the problems of reconciliation and forgiveness are explained to the point of the intersection of psychology and religion. With a view to discussing the problems of reconciliation and forgiveness, First, I will delve into the concept of Heraclitus’ union of opposites which is the basis of the principles of Jung’s psychology. Next, I will deal with reconciliation as appropriate balance between the opposites such as consciousness and the unconscious, ego and shadow, persona and anima․animus, and Eastern & Western thoughts as well. Finally, I will scrutinize the implications of the archetypical forgiveness which is shown in Joseph Narrative of Genesis, and explore the model of confession and psychological counseling as a kind of symbol system from confession to forgiveness, and request forgiveness as a practical task.
