Organizational citizenship behavior is one of the important factors affecting organizational effectiveness.It is because the altruistic actions of members who work beyond the formal roles and responsibilities required by organization in order to benefit colleagues and the organization have a positive effect on organizational effectiveness. The purpose of the current study is to empirically measure the influence of job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior. Furthermore, based on the result, the study seeks to suggest the strategies to improve job satisfaction for promoting organizational citizenship behavior. The sample was drawn from 250 employees of various enterprise, located in city of K. The data was primarily collected through questionnaires, and analyzed through SPSS/PC+. The result shows two findings: (1) job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior showed a significant positive correlation: (2) the group with higher job satisfaction engaged more actively in organizational citizenship behavior than the group with lower job satisfaction: (3) the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational citizen ship behavior was found to be a moderator of self-efficacy. Therefore, in order to facilitate organizational citizenship behavior, it is necessary to increase the job satisfaction of the employees. When employees perceive their self-efficacy at a high level through job satisfaction, they also promote organizational citizenship behavior.
