Recently, the number of international students who want to study at Korean higher education institutions has increased due to the increase of international mutual cooperation. However, many international students are having difficulties in adapting to Korean universities and conducting their studies. Most international students are unable to reach the language proficiency level required for academic performance and enter the university with a lack of understanding of Korean culture. Because of this situation, each university institution discusses the necessity of university adaptation plan for international students and proposes various programs suitable for it. In this study suggest a content-based Korean instruction as a way to improve the basic mathematical ability for successful university mathematics as well as support measures for the adaptation of international students to university life. To this end, It were identified grasped the current situation and problems of international students and understood that they lacked language and learning skills. It can highlight the necessity of General Liberal Eduction and proposed a content-based Korean instruction for their successful academic performance. It is expected that the university will improve the language ability and academic ability of international students by opening the necessary courses for international students and applying content-based Korean instruction.
