Academic stress can lead to psychological and physical health deterioration, poor adaptation to college life, and academic procrastination. Recently, it has been reported that academic stress is increasing in nursing college students. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of achievement goal Orientation, academic self-efficacy, academic achievement and quality of life on academic stress of nursing college students in order to reduce academic stress. The questionnaires were collected from nursing students from April 20, 2017 to June 30, 2017 to 273. The results of this study showed that academic stress was negatively correlated with achievement goal Orientation, especial1y in performance goal orientation, and all three dimension of Academic Self-efficacy. Factors influencing academic stress of nursing college students were identified as all three dimension of Academic Self- efficacy, especially in self-confidence, quality of life, high grade and major satisfaction. Based on the results of this study, we need a program to encourage, support, teach with various method, manage the quality of life and increase self-confidence and major satisfaction for students academic stress reduction.
