This study is a descriptive research study to investigate nurses resilience, social support, violence problem. The subjects of the study were 247 nurses who have worked for more than a year in small-medium sized hospitals located in G Metropolitan City. Findings indicated that the mean scores of resilience, social support, violence experiences were 3.38, 3.62 and 1.77. The comparison of the differences according to the general characteristics of the subjects revealed that the level of resilience had a significant difference in the subjects who are male (t=2.62, p=.009), religious believers (t=5.04, p<.001), have fixed working hours or other working patterns (t=-2.63, p=.009) and more than three people to whom they can open themselves up (F=6.09, p<.001), and are not stressed (F=6.49, p=.002) and in a good health (F=19.75, p<.001). The level of social support showed a significant difference in the subjects who are male (t=2.22, p=.027) and religious believers (t=3.16, p=.002); have more than three people to whom they can open themselves up (F=13.62, p<.001), and are not stressed (F=4.38, p=.014) and in a good health (F=6.74, p=.001). the level of violence problem was high in emergency rooms (F=4.74, p=.003) among the departments where the subjects work in the level of violence was assessed mostly higher than average or serious (F=21.09,p<.001), and a significantly high rate of the subjects said that they are stressed (F=11.24, p<.001).
