본 연구는 국가통계포털(KOSIS)사이트에서 <전국다문화가족실태조사>를 검색했을 때 나타난 1,062건에 달하는 조사 내용을 분류·정리하였다. 해당 년도는 2009, 2012, 2015년도이다. 본 연구의 제안은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구 자료에서 자녀 를 이주민과 정주민 집단 간 비교 하는 것이다. 정주자와 이민자 가정의 상대적 위치를 확인하는 것은 매우 중요한 단서를 제공할 수 있기 때문이다. 또한, 다른 범주의 정주민과 이주민 집단 간 그룹 비교도 자녀 범주에 대한 비교만큼 중요할 수 있다. 둘째, 의료 범주에서 나타난 내용보다 더 깊이 있는 추가적인 작업이 필요해 보인다. 예를 들어, 암 진단에 대한 세부 사항을 포함함은 결혼이민자들의 발병률을 이해할 수 있다. 이러한 노력은 결혼이주자 가정을 지원하는데 있어 실질적인 도움의 될 것으로 기대된다. 국가통계포털(통계청)은 우리에게 많은 유용한 정보를 제공하는 사이트 중 하나다. 이러한 유용한 사이트의 활용을 통해 이주자 집단에 대한 정보를 보다 효율적으로 다룰 수 있음은 지속가능한 미래사회의 시작이 될 수 있다.
