This study is a cross-sectional survey of medical personnel and medical professionals working in the medical field to identify the perception, influence and educational needs of the fourth industrial revolution. This study was conducted from February 1, 2018 to May 10, 2018 for 220 physicians, nurses, and medical staff at medical institutions in Daegu and Gyeongbuk provinces. The SPSS 22 statistical analysis program was used for the analysis. 46% of the participants (91 persons) answered ‘don’t know well’ about the concept of the fourth industrial revolution’. 60% of them (120 persons) answered the revolution would influence ‘a little’ to the health and medical industry. Gender, age, occupation, rand and career of the participants were statistically relevant to the perception of the fourth industrial revolution. Gender, age and occupation were to the influence of. 60% (121 persons) answered the program to learn the revolution is necessary and 76% (151 persons) were willing to take the program. Expertise was picked by 41% (82 persons) as the most needed skill set. Based on these results, it is necessary to develop and apply the education program for the healthcare professionals to the 4th Industrial Revolution.
