The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of ACT-based stress management program on decentering, ego-resilience and job stress coping. A total of 16 social welfare workers from five social welfare organizations in B city were recruited to participate in this program for 80 minutes per week from February 3rd to March 24th, 2018. Eight social welfare workers were assigned to the experimental group and the other eight were assigned to the control group. Two groups decentering, ego-resilience and job stress coping scores were measured by pre-post tests and compared by nonparametric test using the SPSS 23.0 program. According to the results, ACT-based stress management program had a statistically significant effect on improving the scores of decentering, ego-resilience and job stress coping of the social workers. Based on these results, implications and suggestions for future research were discussed.
