In this paper, we examined the current status and problems of field learning and made categorizations of field learning. The concept of field learning is different from the traditional concept of university education, that is, classroom-based learning. Many keywords and concepts that have to do with field learning have been used in variety ways. But, these terms have lack of reflecting the needs of industries. In This method is developed based on the needs of industry and the trends of industry and corporations. This method includes the experiential learning and apprenticeship education. The categorization falls into two by two scheme: The place where the field learning takes place and entrance paths of students. By place, field learning can be categorized as education out of school, school-based education by setting up the industry and corporation environment. By entrance paths, general university entrance exam paths, learning employee paths, employee paths and etc. But, mainly, we investigated the university entrance exam and problems of this paths. Finally, some policies are suggested for future direction.
