The purpose of this study was to investigate the correlation between mother s strokes and adolescents self - esteem. This study was conducted from April 10, 2016 to April 20, 2016, using questionnaires of local middle school students (150 students) and high school students (100 students). The research tool used the scale used by Choi, Chul - Sook (2005) to measure the stroke, and the tool used by Park, Myeong - Seon (2008) was used to measure the self - esteem. The results showed that there was a correlation between mother s strokes (positive, negative, nostrok) and adolescents self - esteem (academic and overall self, friend self, family self, body appearance self, physical ability self, personality self, Respectively. In other words, positive strokes and self - esteem based on the correlation between mother s stroke and self - esteem can be more effective if they are reflected in school education and life education of adolescents. In addition, the experience of positive strokes in adolescence has an important effect on interpersonal relationships, positively affecting self-esteem formation and formation of values, and it will be very useful in overcoming the negative life elements and the temptation of flight. This suggests that mother s positive strokes are a very important area of life for adolescents.
