This study examined the effects of trust that divided into general trust and self trust on ‘sohwakhang’ which is small but certain happiness and happiness. Looking at responses to representative behaviors of the small but certain happiness of 284 university students in Daejeon area, we examined the effects of trust on the small but certain happiness and happiness. In order to examine reliability and validity of scales used, the internal consistency coefficient was checked and the factor analysis was performed. Then, through the correlation analysis, we confirmed the relationship between trust and the small but certain happiness, and confirmed the relationship between happiness and the small but certain happiness. Finally, we examined differences of ‘sohwakhang’ and happiness according to trust type and level by ANOVA. As results, first, general trust and the small but certain happiness have a positive correlation. Second, self trust and the small but certain happiness were also positively correlated. Third, there were significantly different in the small but certain happiness and happiness according to trust level, which is self trust, particularly. The findings of this study show that the degree of the small but certain happiness and happiness are higher in self-trust than in general trust. Therefore, in order to increase the small but certain happiness and happiness of college students, practical measures and solutions to increase the trust level of students will be needed. Finally, the limitations of the study and the direction of future research were discussed.
