The auditory brainstem response (ABR) has been used as the determination of hearing threshold and the assessment of integrity of a peripheral auditory nerve. In our study, ABR test was performed in ICR mouse according to stimulus type (click vs 4 kHz tone burst), ketamine dosage, test time after ketamine induction and body temperature respectively. Absolute peak and interpeak latencies were increased at 4 kHz tone burst stimulus comparing with click. Ketamine dosage and test times after ketamine induction were not influenced on absolute peak and interpeak latencies. Absolute peak and interpeak latencies in lower body temperature were increased comparing with normal body temperature. Thresholds according to stimulus type, ketamine dosage, test time and temperature were not significantly difference and thresholds were in normal ranges.
