국내 프로스포츠는 1982년 프로야구의 출범으로 프로스포츠가 본격화 된 이후 프로축구, 민속씨름, 프로농구(남—여), 프로골프(남—여), 프로복싱, 프로볼 링, 그리고 프로배구 등으로 확대되어 현재 문화관 광부 등록 프로단체 기준 총 10개 리그가 운영되고 있다. 특히 경제 발전으로 인한 소득 수준의 향상과 생활여건의 변화로 인한 국민들의 여가활동에 대한 가치관의 변화는 관람스포츠에 대한 사회구성원들 의 참여와 관심의 증대를 이끌었고, 프로스포츠는 독립적인 산업으로 자리매김을 해 나아가고 있다. 그 결과 한국의 프로스포츠는 2002년의 경우 약 3,035억 원, 2003년에는 2,066억 원, 그리고 2005년도 에는 2,731억 원의 시장 규모로 비교적 꾸준한 성장 세를 나타내고 있다(체육과학연구원, 2006).
The purpose of this study was two-fold: 1) Based on Fishbein's Multi-Attribute Attitude Model, the attitude toward purchasing a professional baseball team uniform was examined and the relationship between the attitude and the purchasing-intention was investigated; and 2) The Importance-Performance Analysis was utilized to determine which purchasing influential factor was strength or weakness in purchase of a professional baseball uniform. In order to perform this purpose, a total of 300 questionnaires were surveyed and 294 questionnaires were analyzed. In results, three factors (team's tradition, team-related area, and service) had positive influence on re-purchasing intention while other three factors (other people's opinion, shop's location, and price) had negative influence. Also, such a preferring team, player, and team factors as forming team-loyalty were classified in the dimension of 'keep up the good work'. On the other side, price, quality, and performance factors which are directly related to products were categorized in the dimension of 'low priority'.
