본 연구는 새둥지화가 애착안정성 투사도구로서의 활용가능성과 성별, 학년별로 반응특성에 차이가 있는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 대구시에 거주하는 초등학생 3, 5학년생 538명이었으며, 모애착 질문지와 새둥지화 그림검사를 실시하였다. 자료분석은 성별, 학년별. 애착수준에 따른 새둥지화 반응특성의 차이를 알아보기 위하여 교차분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성별에 따라서는 여학생이 남학생보다 새들이 양육활동을 하는 경향이 많았고, 색깔을 많이 사용하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학년에 따라서는 5학년생이 3학년생 보다 둥지 내에 알과 새가 같이 있는 경우가 많았고, 둥지를 용지의 중심에 크게 그리며 색을 적절하게 사용하는 경향이 높았다. 셋째, 모애착수준에 따라서는 애착수준이 높은 집단이 낮은 집단보다 공간을 크게 사용하며, 부모새와 함께 있는 경향이 높고, 나무를 그리며, 나무와 기타 지지물에 의해 지지 받고 있는 비율이 높았다. 이상으로 새둥지화가 애착안정성 진단을 위한 투사도구로서의 활용 가능성을 제시하였다.
The purpose of this study is to verify whether BND test is an appropriate tool for diagnosis of attachment security and to investigate difference of responsive Characteristics to the Bird\'s Nest Drawings according to gender and grade. The subjects in the study are 538 students, selected from elementary schools in D-city. The instruments used are attachment to mother scale and Bird\'s Nest Drawings. Chi-square analyses were used to test for differences in frequencies of occurrence of attachment indicators in gender, grade and attachment level. The result are as follows. First, for girls were more likely to draw feed activity and to use colors than boys. Second, for 5 grade students were more likely to draw eggs and birds in the nest, draw large in the center the nest, use colors appropriately than 3 grade students. Third, the secure subjects were more likely to draw parent birds, draw trees, draw the nest in a tree than insecure subjects. BND is potential for art therapy to utilize the attachment model.
