성서는 이미 오랫동안 다양성을 인정하는 다문화 사회의 지혜를 가르치고 있다. 창조주 하나님에 대한 모든 기독교인의 고백은 그의 창의성을 토대로 나타나는 다양성에 대한 존중으로 나타나야만 한다. 다양성에 대한 억압은 하나님을 대적하는 행위이자 성서에서 지속적으로 경고하고 있는 인간의 오만함Titanism의 표현이다. 인간의 오만함으로 인한 배제와 차별은 부정의이다. 하나님은 이 길에서 돌아서는 모든 자를 구원하기 위해 오늘도 성서를 통해 가르치고 있다. 필자는 이주 외국인 중 국제결혼 이주여성을 바라보는 한국 교회 구성원들의 관점에 대하여 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 결과는 다음과 같다. (1) 건강한 기독교인의 정체성을 가지고 있고 (2) 개종이 문화 접변 현상에 의해 자연스럽게 진행될 수 있다는 가능성을 확인하였으며 (3) 국제결혼 이주여성에 대한 차별적 태도와 개종 강요에 대한 문제의식을 가지고 있었으며 (4) 여성에 대해 타 종교인이라기보다는 사회적 약자라는 인식을 가지고 있었다. 조사 결과를 통하여 한국 기독교인들이 교육에 의해 긍정적인 미래를 추구해 볼 수 있는 가능성이 있음을 확인하였다.
For a long time, the Holy Bible has approved the diversity which gives the wisdom of the multicultural society. The confess of all christians towards the Creator should be represented as the respect towards the diversity based on God’s creation. The oppression of the diversity is the hostile action against the God and is the expression of human’s Titanism which the Holy Bible constantly gives warning. Exclusion and discrimination caused by human’s Titanism is the injustice. In order to save people who are returning from this road, the God is giving us the words through the Holy Bible today. In this study, the survey was carried out in order to find out the views of the Korean church community on International marriage women. The findings are below: (1) they have healthy christian identity; (2) there are some possibilities that the conversion could occur naturally by the cultural assimilation; (3) they have critical minds about their discriminative attitudes towards international marriage women and the enforcement of the conversion; (4) they perceived the international marriage women as the underprivileged in society rather than other religious people. Through these findings, it was able to recognize the plausibility that Korean christians can pursue the positive future through education.
