The purpose this study was to compare the characteristics of Kinetic Family Drawing(KFD) responses in three groups.
The 1601 subjects were selected in elementary school(367), middle school(529), and high school(705) in Taegu and Pusan. Data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA and scheffe-test.
The results were as follows:
First. in actions of drawings, elementary pupils perceived themselves and their parents being more active, criteria for masochism and sadism expression appeared highly than middle and high school students.
While middle and high school students showed higher in the criteria for communication, cooperation and nurturing.
Second. in the figure characteristics. elementary pupils draw the length of their arms longer than middle and high school students. less omit physical parts, eyes, face, feet, and expressed the expression of face more brightly. and tended to draw the size of figure larger than middle and high school students.
Third. in dynamics of drawing. elementary pupils located their own figures in the upper position of the paper. while their parents figures located in the lower position of the paper than middle and high school students. And there were many barriers the criteria for figure distance.
Forth. in the style of drawing, elementary pupils showed higher the line compartment the edging, encapsulation and the paper folding than middle and high school students.
