본 연구의 목적은 미술치료가 한부모가족의 K아동(남 10세)을 대상으로 아동의 자아존중감 향상과 또래관계증진을 위해 미술치료로 그 효과를 규명해 보고자 한다. 본 연구도구로는 양적분석 척도검사로 Rosenberg(1965)의 자아존중감검사를 실시하고 질적분석 투사검사로 K아동에게 HTP검사, KSD(학교생활화)검사를 실시했다. 연구기간은 주 1회, 총 17회기 실시했다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 미술치료를 통해 한부모가족 아동의 자아존중감이 향상되었다. 둘째, 미술치료를 통해 한부모가족 아동의 또래관계의 원만함이 증진되었다. 이상의 결과를 볼 때, 미술치료가 한부모가족 아동의 자아존중감이 향상되고 또래관계의 원만함이 증진되는데 영향을 미치는 것에 효과가 있음을 알 수 있다.
The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of an art therapy program on the self-esteem of a boy from single-parent family and his peer relationship. The subjects in this study were a 10-year-old boy called K. A quantitative analysis was conducted by using several instruments. Jeon Byeon-jae(1974)'s Korean version of Rosenberg(1965)'s inventory was utilized to assess their self-esteem. As for projection test, HTP and KSD test was applied to the child took tests All the tests were implemented before and after the experiment to compare the results. The findings of the study were as follows: First, the art therapy provided in this study served to improve the self-esteem of the child from the single-parent family. Second, the art therapy contributed to boosting the peer relationship of the child from the single-parent family. The findings of this study suggested that the family art therapy program had an effect on bolstering the self-esteem of the child from the single-parent family, furthering his peer relationship.
