"This study was to develop an art group therapy program for prevention of internet addiction, and analyze the effects of art group therapy on enhancement of parent-child communication and self-esteem in elementary school. The subjects of this study were 40 children of elementary school which overused internet. The Children from the experimental groupⅠ(art in therapy) and Ⅱ(art as therapy), and control group participated total 8 sessions of group art therapy. Before and after this treatment, Degree of parents-children communication and self-esteem were measured. And changes happened in each session were examined by a qualitative analysis. The results of study was following; The experimental group dealt with the group art therapy showed statically significant differences on 'parents-children communication' and 'self-esteem' which verified positive influence of the group art therapy. And in qualitative analysis, subjects are less resistant, less guilt, and more active in group participation, and have more free expression of their own family problems among family members.
