"The purpose of this study is to investigate the possibility of using Test of Visual Perceptual Skills-Revised(TVPS-R) and LMT as a tool for evaluation conception of space development of elementary school children. The subject of this study were 296 elementary school children of 1st~6th grade in B city. The research tools are Korea Test of Visual Perceptual Skills-Revised(K-TVPS-R), LMT and Conception of Space Development Evaluation. The data was analyzed by SPSS(ver. 12.0 for Windows), by which One-way ANOVA and Correlation were carried out. The results of this study were as follows; First, elementary children's visual perceptual skills was improved up according to the grade. Second, elementary children's conception of space by LMT was improved up according to the grade. Third, elementary children's visual perceptual skills and conception of space by LMT show high correlation. As results of above study, it was proved that Test of Visual Perceptual Skills-Revised(TVPS-R) and LMT can be used a tool for evaluating elementary children's conception of space development.
