"The goal of this research is to inquire into an effect of Supportive Group Art Therapy upon NGO activist's stress and psychological exhaustion. For the goal of this research, as tool to measure the psychological exhaustion for NGO activists from the 11 national groups(Target Group Survey)from October, 2009 to December, 2009, Likert Scale was distributed to withdraw 102 including e-mail reply and interview note(Survey to a group of respondents gathered at the place, delivery survey, mail survey, electronic survey, etc.). Of them, the study sample was for 20 from respondents that is 2.7points ≤ from 5 points of Maslach Burnout Inventory scale results of measurement with 80 sections except missing data or incomplete data, specially 3.0 point ≤ of average of emotional exhaustion from minor factor, and the research was processed with 10-person in city P as experimental groups and 10-person in city S activists as control group considering the local conditions. As the anterior and posterior measurement instrument of this research Person In The Rain test and MBI were used, and the measured data after the homogeneity test analyzed the group and seasoning interaction effect with the repeated measure-ANOVA.
The results of this research are as followed;.
First, the Supportive Group Art Therapy made positive effect upon the improvement of NGO activists' stress and coping ability appeared on PITR test.
Second, the Supportive Group Art Therapy made positive effect upon the whole and minor factor of NGO activists' psychological exhaustion appeared on MBI scale, the emotional exhaustion, manunkind, lack of personal achievement.
