"The purpose of the study is that the effects on the psychological development by the gratitude program by Mandala is verified for the happy and psychological improvement for Korean adults on the view of the counselling education. At first, the contents of program contain the definition of the gratitude, the process of gratitude, the developmental stages, and an education of gratitude, and the program is compare to the part concerning of Susim of Dongsasub, the power of gratitude and Naikan Counselling which are related to gratitude program. The development of gratitude is connected with social cognitive development, spiritual development and theory of change because there is no the model of developmental gratitude. This is all about the theoretical background of gratitude and Mandala. Moreover, the implementation of gratitude program is connected with Mandala so that everyone can express mandala easily. It also has visionary effects and helps them perceive, control, prepare and be awake. As you see, this program is prepared based on this theoretical background. The preliminary experiment was implemented for the practical use. After the effect of The preliminary experiment had been verified, it started. To verify the effect on the program, an education for gratitude by mandala was practiced to the experimental group, 12 adults and the comparative group, 12 adults who live in C city. Their tendency of gratitude, self-esteem, relationship, and depression were checked and they were compared between them. It is founded that tendency of gratitude, self-esteem and relationship have been improved, but this program is not effective on depression. However, the part of depression is considered as the positive process through understanding of the contents. That is why it has a good effect on depression. As above, the gratitude program by Mandala helps Korean adults improve the happy and psychology on the view of the counselling education.
