Objective : The purpose of this survey was to study how shutting ones eyes influenced eye-hand coordination by using 3D motion analyses.
Methods : The subjects of the study were 23 Inje University students who did not have visual field impairment or hand function deformity. We analyzed average speed, total distance, and 3 dimensional coordinates x, y, z by using Winarm software's report in the SPSS 10.0.
Results : The findings can be summarized as follows;
1. Average speed and total distance showed statistically significant difference according to eyes closed vs. opened.
2. Error times and coordinates x, y, z showed statistically significant difference according to eyes closed vs. opened.
3. Kinesthesia showed statistically significant difference between first time and fifth time at coordinate x.
Conclusion : The result of the study showed that eyes closed vs. opened affected on coordination. Therefore, these results will be considered therapeutically useful for patient who has visual field damage.
