"The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between judging awareness and perception of athletic performance. The participants of the study were 370 middle and high school soccer players from the four regions (Gyeonggi Province, Daejeon, South Chungcheong Province, North Chungcheong Province) that were registered as elite soccer groups with the Korea Football Association, chosen through the purposive sampling. Among 370 sets of data, except for 13 sets which lost some contents of the survey and were answered unfaithfully, 357 sets were valid samples. The data was put through PASW 18.0 to conduct frequency analysis, Cronbach's α, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The analysis produced the following results. First, among the middle and high school students' demographic variables, grade and experience showed to be a statistically significant factor in deciding the level of awareness of judging. Second, middle and high school soccer players' level of awareness of judging had a partially significant effect on athletic performance.
