"The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of image training program on image capability, psychological skills, and perceived performance of woman shooting players. Subjects consisted of five shooting woman players. Image training program were composed of representation development training program, skill image training program, competitive image training program, and image control training program. The subjects were exposed to four different image training with ten sessions in twice a week. Program effectiveness was evaluated through image capability scale, athletic coping skills inventory 28(ACSI-28), and the athletes' appraisal on 8 aspects of performances. Firstly, image training program had positive effects on image capability of shooting woman players. Secondly, image training program had positive effects on psychological skills of shooting woman players. Thirdly, image training program had positive effects on perceived performance of shooting woman players. Fourthly, effectiveness of psychological image training program was examined by open questionnaires.
