"This study was to compare physical self-concept, exercise motivation, exercise emotion experience according to exercise behavior stage in swimming participants. In order to achieve this research purpose, swimming participants in sport centers responded on questionnaires. Total 238 data were analyzed with exploratory factor analysis, internal validity test, t-test, one-way MANOVA, and one-way ANOVA. The results of this research were as follows; First, it did not illustrate significant difference according to gender. There was not statistical difference as the result of previous research. However, there were differences in some sub-factors. Second, it illustrated that the levels of physical self-concept, exercise motivation, and exercise emotion experience got higher, as exercise career, frequency, and level. There was significant relation between exercise frequency and exercise maintenance. Frequent exercise participants are active in exercise interest and practice.Third, it illustrated that levels of physical self-concept, exercise motivation, exercise emotion were higher, as exercise behavior stage got higher. This result were the same with previous research results in physical self-concept and motivation according to exercise behavior stage.
