\"본 연구는 2007 개정교육과정 적용대비에 의해 방정식을 처음으로 접하게 될 초등학교 6학년 학생들을 대상으로 방정식 단원 학습 후 문제 해결 과정에서 나타나는 오류 유형을 밝혀내었다. 본 연구에서는 오류 유형을 이해의 오류, 처리 기술의 오류, 요구되지 않은 해답, 애매한 오류로 분류하였으며 이중에서 처리 기술의 오류가 가장 많이 발생하였다. 이해의 오류는 두 번째로 많이 발생하였는데 이는 학생들이 방정식에서 기본적인 개념, 원리나 정리를 이해하지 못하고 있으며 이것을 적용하는 문제에서 어려움을 겪고 있다는 것을 나타낸다. 마지막으로 학생들이 보이는 오류 중 가장 큰 원인 중 하나는 학생들은 ‘=’를 양쪽의 관계를 나타내는 기호로 생각하지 않고 앞의 연산에 대한 결과를 적을 때 사용하는 기호로 생각하고 있는 것이다. 등호는 교육과정 전반에 걸쳐 사용되기 때문에 방정식 영역 뿐 아니라 모든 영역에 있어 발달할 수 있도록 지속적이고 일관적인 지도가 필요하다.\"
"This paper provides error types which are revealed during solving equation problems for 6th grade elementary school students who will experience the linear equation problems for the first time for preparing 2007 revised curriculum. In this paper we classified the error types as misunderstanding errors, technical errors, unwanted solutions, ambiguous errors. Among them technical errors are most frequently observed. Misunderstanding errors were showed secondly because students don't understand basic concepts or principles of equations and they can't apply to the real problems. Lastly, one of the main reasons why students have errors is that students consider equality not as the symbol of the relation between two sides, but as the symbol of the result of the previous operation. Since equality is used universally in curriculum, continuous and consistent guidance about the equality are needed for developing their understanding the equality all over the areas. key words: equation, error, equality"
