본 연구는 취업을 준비하는 예비유아교사들이 느끼는 어려움에 대해 질적 분석하였다. 연구 참여자 로는 A대학교 4학년 학생 5명을 선정하였으며, 2010년 11월부터 12월까지 취업준비를 본격적으로 시 작한 8주 동안 저널쓰기와 집단면담, 개별면담을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 연구 결과, 예비유아교사는 먼저 자신이 하고 싶은 것과 할 수 있는 것에 대한 갈등을 시작으로, 어 디서도 알 수 없는 취업 정보부족으로 인한 어려움과 이력서 쓰기, 면접 등의 실제 취업과정을 스스로 개척하며 부딪쳐야하는 어려움을 나타냈다. 또한, 취업 이전에는 취업이 쉽지 않은 상황에서 소신을 지킬 수 없는 힘겨움과 자신만 뒤처지지 않을까하는 초조함을 그리고 취업이 결정된 후에는 자신이 선 택한 결과를 믿어야하는 불안감을 나타냄으로써, 취업이 돼도, 안 돼도 여전히 어려움을 경험하고 있 는 모습을 보였다.
This study analysed the difficulties that early childhood student teachers felt in the process of preparing for their employment by a qualitative research manner. 5 students of the 4th grade in A university participated in this study for 8 weeks from November 2010 through December 2010. During this period, they participated in writing journals, group interviews, and personal interviews. The results showed that student-teachers felt the sense of complications which was originated by ignorancing about their job preference in the process of preparing for employment, the sense of closeness because of the lack of job information, the sense of difficulty in keeping their beliefs and the sense of anxiety that they might be one step behind in getting jobs. Even when their employment was decided, they doubted whether their decision was right and it leaded to feel anxiety.
