This study investigated the influence of teacher-mother interaction using kindergarten web-site on
mother's parent efficacy and trust in teachers. The subjects were 32 mothers whose children were
attending public kindergarten in chungbuk. 16 mothers in experimental group discussed education
activities with a teacher seeing their child’s pictures and reading the teacher’s writing with
kindergarten web-site for 14 weeks. While 16 mothers in the comparative group saw their child’s
pictures using kindergarten web-site, they did not discuss it with the teacher. The results showed
that teacher-mother interaction using kindergarten web-site had positive effect on improvement of
efficacy as parent, trust in teacher, reliability, and intimacy. Otherwise, it had no positive effect on
improvement of parenting efficacy, frustration as a parent, parental interest and excitement, openness,
ability, integrity, and care.
