국문초록

민족기록화 사업은 5.16쿠테타를 통해 집권한 박정희 정권이 추진했던 대표적인 미술정책이었다. 박정희 정권은 서구를 모델로 경제적 근대화를 진행하던 1970년대 초, 체제 유지와 국민총화를 목적으로 하는 민족 정체성의 확립을 주장하면서 전통문화 보존, 발굴에 적극적으로 관심을 갖게 되었다. 전체주의적 군사정부로서 박정희 정권은 정권의 정통성을 얻고 국민을 효과적으로 통제하기 위해 관주도의 민족 정체성 확립을 의도하면서, 문화 예술을 적극 활용했다. 박정희 정권의 문화정책의 이러한 방침에서 나온 대표적 사업이 민족기록화였다. 민족기록화 사업은 1967년에 시작되어 1970년 후반까지 계속되었고, 김종필, 이원엽 등 군인 출신으로 박정희 정부에서 요직을 차지했던 인사들이 주도했다. 이 점은 민족기록화 사업이 박정희 체제 유지의 이데올로기를 충실하게 대변했음을 증명한다.

영문초록

The Recording Race Art Work is representative art police carried forward by the Park Chung-Hee Regime. The Park Chung-Hee Regime advocated establishment of a national identity, which goals were national harmony and keeping early 1970s system proceeding economical modernization modeled on western. And they were actively concerned with Korean traditional culture\'s conversation and excavation. They insisted establishment of a national identity led by government and also make actively use of art, because, as a totalitarianism military government, they had to get legitimacy and control people effectively. The Recording Race Art Work is representative business come out because of this reason. The Recording Race Art Work started in 1967 and had continued in late 1970s, taken the lead by Kim Jong-pil, Lee Won-yeop and etc. who were ex-army and occupied key positions. This means that the Recording Race Art Work faithfully speaks for ideology of keeping the Park Chung-Hee Regime. The Recording Race Art Work is visual reappearance of a uniform national identity advocated by a military government, so it belongs to a police propaganda art. At first, Park Chung-Hee, who was ex-Japanese army, had disparaged that Korean history is history of rudeness and retrogression. This appears that materials of works in late 1960s, at beginning of the Recording Race Art Work, are almost the Korean War and the Vietnam War in Korean contemporary history, so theme of those works is anticommunism so-called a national policy. But in 1972, the Yushin(Revitalizing) Reforms system was established, and they were demanded excuse of justification and powerful pivot for rally and control people, so they advocated the militaristic democracy professed inherit and excavation of the tradition. According to this, after Yushin, theme of the Recording Race Art Work expanded from ancient history to contemporary history. At Yushin\'s period, works of Recording Race Art Work made under the assertive leading of government, and themes of these are almost development of economy or making Korea higher war and war heroes. This shows how much the Park Chung-Hee Regime obsessed development of economy and ideology of military. After the Yushin Reforms system, the Recording Race Art Work was completely controlled to such an extent as Recording 5 Years Plane was remade and guideline of making record was adduced. A censorship about image out of government’s intend was also carried out. Therefore, especially and , which advocate overcoming a civil war and inheriting the great national traits in front, directly show a national identity intended by government at that time.
