Central and local and governments needs to nurture professionals from every sectors and levels of society in order to prevent bad side effects that may occur in the course of opening through establishment of alien residential order. Owing to the acceleration of drift of worldwide population caused by globalization and income gap, our society has been now rapidly changing to the multiracialㆍmulticultural one embracing marital immigrants, foreign workers, alien students and North Korean defectors. To make multicultural families settle into our society stable and assist their family life, the central government and local governments make efforts with multiple measures. I studied government policies in the context what the effects support measures give upon development of local community centered on the multilcutural families support policies of Seongnam City.
