본 연구는 다문화가정과 일반가정 어머니의 정서표현수용태도와 아동의 또래관계 및 자아존중감과의 관계를 파악하고 더 나아가 어머니의 정서표현수용태도가 아동의 또래관계에 미치는 영향을 미치는데 있어서 아동의 자아존중감의 조절효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 자료 분석을 위해 t-test와 일원변량분석(One-way ANOVA), 단순회귀분석과 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였으며 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 먼저 다문화가정과 일반가정 구분에 따른 주요변인 모두 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 다문화가정과 일반가정 어머니의 정서표현수용태도가 아동의 또래관계와 자아존중감에 미치는 영향이 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났다. 마지막으로, 다문화가정의 경우 어머니의 정서표현수용태도와 아동의 또래관계에서 자아존중감 하위요인 중 가정적 자아의 상호작용이 유의하게 나타났다. 이러한 결과들을 토대로 본 연구의 시사점과 제한점 등을 논의하였다.
In this study, we intend to survey the relation between accommodation attitude of emotional expression by mom from multi-culture family and general family, children’s peer relation and self-esteem. T-test, one-way ANOVA, simple regression analysis and hierarchical regression analysis were conducted for the data analysis, and result of this study is as follows. First, it had shown a meaningful difference depending on division of multi-culture family and general family. Second, accommodation attitude of emotional expression by mom from multi-culture family and general family had explained children’s peer relation and self-esteem statistically meaningfully. Finally, in case of multi-culture family, correlation between accommodation attitude of emotional expression by mom for the children’s peer relation and children’s self-esteem was revealed to be meaningful. Based on these results, implications and limitations of this study were discussed.
