국립민속박물관 어린이박물관은 어린이들이 잘 자라날 수 있도록 ‘어린이’를 위한 체험 공간을 운영한다. 그래서 어린이박물관에서의 체험은 단순히 물건을 만들고 몸 을 움직이는 체험이 아니라 어린이박물관에 전시된 유물과 자료를 기반으로 한 체험 을 의미한다. 국립민속박물관도 이러한 생각에서 1988년 이후 다양한 교육프로그램 을 운영해 왔으며, 2003년에는 어린이박물관을 설치하여 어린이를 위한 전문적인 프 로그램을 확대하였고, 2010년 현재에는 어린이박물관과에서 어린이를 위한 특화된 교육들을 운영하고 있다. 2010년의 어린이박물관 교육프로그램은 그 계획과 실행이 2009년부터 세밀하게 구상되어 2010년 현재 진행되고 있다. 교육 프로그램의 대상 별 기본적인 영역을 설정하고, 큰 주제의 교육프로그램을 조직하고, 그 세부교육을 만 들고 진행하는 것 전체가 조직적으로 이루어지고 있는 모습도 볼 수 있다.
The National Folk Museum of Korea(NFMK) operated the children's museum for the developments and experiences of the children. The experience of the children's museum is not only the programs which children move their hands and bodies, but also the programs which experience the artifacts by seeing and touching. And these are also accelerated by the educational program for the children. The NFMK operated various educational program since 1988 and established children's museum in 2003. From that time the NFMK enlarged the educational program for the children and from 2010 the educational programs were operated by chilren's museum division. In this paper, I examined the educational program development step from its start previous years. Actually the educational programs of the year of 2010 started in 2009 such as place the main target audience, setting up the budget, making specific program, recruiting the museum educator. All the steps for the educational programs are very systematic.
