본 연구는 청소년의 폭력영화 시청이 고등학생의 폭력성에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였 다. 청소년의 폭력성을 공격성과 충동성, 모방 충동과 모방행동으로 알아보았으며 폭력영화 시청이 공격성에 미치는 영향에 부모의 지도감독과 의사소통이 조절작용을 하는지 알아보았 다. 이를 위해 고등학생 647명의 설문지 자료를 분석하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 대부분의 고등학 생들은 한 달 평균 1〜2번의 빈도로, 인터넷 사이트에서 다운로드받아, 재미를 위해 영화를 보며, 액션 쟝르를 가장 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 폭력영화 시청 후 대다수가 그것과 관련 하여 부모님과 대화를 하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 폭력영화시청은 충동성을 제외한 모 든 변인 즉, 공격성, 모방충동, 모방경험과 유의한 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 고등 학생의 충동성은 폭력영화시청후 ‘부모와의 토론’과, 모방충동은 ‘부모의 부재’와, 모방경험은 ‘부모의 부재’, ‘부모의 폭력영화시청 감독’, ‘폭력영화 시청후 부모와의 토론’ 모두와 의미있 는 상관을 나타냈다. 넷째, 폭력영화 시청 후 부모와의 토론은 폭력영화 시청과 고등학생의 폭력성의 관계를 조절하는 효과로서 가장 높은 점수를 보였지만 통계적으로 유의한 정도는 아니었다.
The purpose of this study is to grasp the actual of high school student’s watching violent movies, and understand the relations between the level of violence and the degree of watching violent movie among high schoolers. Participants of this study were 647 students who enrolled in high schools in Korea. of watching movie, aggression scales, and impulse scales were utilized to measure the conditions of high school students surrounding watching violent movies. Frequency statistics and correlation analyses were conducted with SPSSWIN 12.0. The results of this study were as follows: First, 70.8% of 647 students recognized that there were a lot of violent scenes in an action movie. Second, watching violent movie had significant correlation with. Third, the experience of imitating violent scenes after watching a violent movie was higher when students’ parents left house empty frequently than otherwise and also when students were restrained from watching violent movie lower than. The experience was lower when students had more discussions about the movie with parents even if they watched violent movie.
