This study aimed at 1) finding out how Korean clients fit in the stages of family life cycle mainly suggested by Erickson, Carter, & McGoldrick, 2) exploring what family therapy models and therapeutic techniques used to solve clients\' problems, and 3) constructing a database that contains therapy-related information for the convenience of therapists and research.
Thirty family therapy cases were chosen for this purpose. The results were discussed in terms of the usability of family life cycle concept for Korean clients, and family therapy techniques as a function of therapy models and family life cycle.
