The purpose of this study was to investigate the perception of elementary school teachers and students by applying a forgiveness physical activity program which was developed to solve the problem of school violence. In this study, data were collected by in-depth interviews and classroom diaries of research participants, and analyzed using the procedure of Spatial Analysis and Classification Analysis(Spradley, 1979). First, teachers' perceived the program as 'goal-oriented physical education class', 'active physical activity and expression' and 'positive emotional change.' Forgiveness has become a driving force in shaping and maintaining positive relationships between instructors and learners, and between learners and learners. Second, students' perceptions of the program were related to self-confidence, persistence, interest, competence and responsibility. Students who participated in the program showed greater improvements in emotional aspects rather than in the psycho-social and cognitive aspects.
