This study aims to develop NK folk songs to be included in integrated subject textbooks and music textbooks of elementary school in preparation for unification and present an educational method. To that end, NK folk songs collected in music textbooks and integrated subject textbooks, which are currently used in elementary schools, were analyzed, along with five printed music books published by the National Music Institute and NK folk songs gathered in 「Music data book of NK folk songs」 and 「Korean folksong data book selected and put on record by Im Seok-jae」. Out of these songs, a total of 10 songs were selected and arranged for educational use. In addition, the NK folk songs was arranged according to the level of each grade group and the activities related to unification education were presented in conjunction with other curricula.
