본 연구는 제4차 산업혁명 시대의 특수교육 좌표를 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 제4차 산업혁명 관련 문헌들과 특수교육 관련 문헌들을 고찰하고 특수교육 대상, 장소, 방법에 대해 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과 제4차 산업혁명은 지능정보기술 수준의 심화와 그러한 기술이 인간의 일을 대체하면서 장애를 정의하는 기준의 변화와 인간만이 할 수 있는 일을 교육내용으로 요구하며, 네트워크 환경의 초고속화와 소형화된 고성능 디바이스 보급, 그리고 플랫폼의 확산으로 인해 특수교육 대상 개인을 중심으로 학습공간의 온라인화와 복합적인 학습경험을 한 장소에서 할 수 있도록 요구하고, 사물인터넷, 빅 데이터, 인공지능 기술의 발전으로 유튜브의 기능과 같이 개인 선호 중심의 교육과 평가를 요구하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 제4차 산업혁명에 따라 특수교육은 특수교육 대상이 사회의 건강한 구성원의 하나로서 자신만의 가치 있는 삶을 살아갈 수 있도록 다양한 제4차 산업혁명 기술들을 특수교육에 접목시켜 플랫폼화된 장에서 전 생애에 걸쳐 개인화된 지원을 선호에 따라 전방위적으로 받을 수 있도록 해야 할 것이다.
The purpose of this study is to explore the direction of the change of special education in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. this study examined the literature related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution and special education, and drawn the guideline of how the special education should go. The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, according to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, special education supports a wide range of special education subjects, various related people share special education professionalism, and moves toward strengthening of leisure education, emotional education and smart literacy education as main contents of education. Second, according to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, special education constitutes an online education space, restructures the school space to meet the special education target of the consumer, and provides a comprehensive support platform that performs various roles and functions in addition to providing education only. And to be able to prepare for a worthwhile life centering on the special education subject individuals. Third, according to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, special education should provide personalized education, move toward the direction of active and intelligent evaluation and educational decision making. Conclusionally, according to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, special education provides that various technologies are combined with special education and provide personalized support throughout the life of the special education subjects in a favorable way in order for special education subject can live a worthwhile life as one of the healthy members of society.
