The purpose of this study is to explore the direction of the change of special education in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. this study examined the literature related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution and special education, and drawn the guideline of how the special education should go. The conclusions of this study are as follows.
First, according to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, special education supports a wide range of special education subjects, various related people share special education professionalism, and moves toward strengthening of leisure education, emotional education and smart literacy education as main contents of education.
Second, according to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, special education constitutes an online education space, restructures the school space to meet the special education target of the consumer, and provides a comprehensive support platform that performs various roles and functions in addition to providing education only. And to be able to prepare for a worthwhile life centering on the special education subject individuals.
Third, according to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, special education should provide personalized education, move toward the direction of active and intelligent evaluation and educational decision making.
Conclusionally, according to the Fourth Industrial Revolution, special education provides that various technologies are combined with special education and provide personalized support throughout the life of the special education subjects in a favorable way in order for special education subject can live a worthwhile life as one of the healthy members of society.
