This study aimed to investigate the effect of Media Video Production Career Education Program on career decision-making process over the free semester among the first-year middle school students. In addition, they are recognized their interests and aptitudes through media video production career education programs, they
improved their confidence in their career paths, and investigated the changes in career recognition due to various experiences in the production process. The statistical processing of the video production course education program was done using SPSS 21 programs and the pre - and post-testing was performed on the experimental group and the comparative group to perform the t-validation at the significance p<.05. The results of this study are as follows : First, the experimental group that conducted the free semester media video production course education program showed significant differences in the behavior changes of middle school students. Second, the difference of career decision between experiment group and comparative group was significant after carrying out free-term media video production career education program. Third, students in the experiment group tended to express their opinion, show a positive change in the communication method. This program helped them to improve their career search, career recognition, and their confidence. We concluded that this program had future-oriented effect to the students. In conclusion, media video production career education program was beneficial to the students who search their career and positive effect on career decision-making process. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary for the junior high school students career education to be carried out continuously in connection with various programs, and continuous development and research are needed for the media image production career education program to develop into future oriented career education.
