본 연구는 중증발달장애인 주 양육자의 성인기에 이르기까지의 자녀 돌봄 구조에 관한 현상학적 연구로서 자료 분석은 Colaizzi의 체험적 현상학적 방법을 사용하였으며 연구 참여자별로 실시된 인터뷰 녹취자료를 텍스트로 했다. 연구 결과는 24개의 주제와 8개의 주제결집이 나타났다. 이러한 주제결집이 이루어진 자료를 상황, 과정, 결과의 범주에 재배열하여 기술했다. 본 연구에서는 주제결집은 돌봄의 무게에 짓눌림, 내세에도 지고 갈 업보, 고립무원의 홀로 돌봄, 끝이 보이지 않는 절망의 긴 터널, 극한의 자리에 서기, 자기보존(코나투스) 연대, 자기 실존의 근거, 형극의 험로에서 마주한 동반자로 나타났다. 연구자는 본 연구 결과로 제시된 성인기 중증발달장애인 돌봄은 부모들에게 고통인 동시에 자기 실존의 이유와 근거라는 것에 대한 논의, 연구 참여자들에게서 나타난 자기보존에 대한 논의, 마지막으로 중증발달장애인 부모들이 경험한 협력적 돌봄에 관한 논의를 했다.
This study is a Phenomenological study on the structure of child care to the age of adult caregivers with severe developmental disabilities in adulthood, and the data analysis used Colaizzi s empirical methods and the researchers conducted in depth-interview participants. The result as follows : we found 24 themes and 8 theme cluster. We describe context in, process, and outcome categories. In this study, the theme clusters was found to be a companion to be weighed down by the weight of care, to go to the next world, to take care of the isolationist hall, to a long tunnel of hopelessness, to an extreme position, to a self-preservation regiment, to the basis of self-existence, and to encounter in the rugged path of punishment. The researchers concluded that the care of the adult with severe developmental disability a painful to parents but at the same time on the reasons and grounds of self-existence, the discussion of self-preservation in participants, And discussed cooperative care.
