According to ‘the directory of music education’ within ‘Culture and Art Education instructor system,’ music education should be the culture and art education. However, the system has been doing without specific directions and well-designed curricula. At this point, this study aims at presenting , which reflects the idealogical goals of ‘music lesson as Culture and Arts Education.
I applied the characteristics of culture and art education to music education, and then utilized it into 4-stages and 15-session activities. The contents of include the following activities: music education for all ages; enjoyable-centered approach rather than function-centered approach; the learning through communicative and sympathetic activities; and attempt to the various musical expressions. This program also includes the multi-disciplinary approaches; classical and modern, oriental and western, poem and image, and so on. With this program of , culture and art education instructors will be provided not only the understanding of music education as arts and culture education, but also the guidance of applicable methods and contents in the leaning classes.
