This study is to examine the effects of group music therapy improving in attention and reducing school stress of children using community child center. The subjects of this study were 10 children at D community child center in D city.
They underwent group music therapy. This program was carried out during 15 sessions for 40 minutes per session once a week from August 27, 2018 to November 28, 2018. Before and after this program, Harris & Harris s attention test was carried out for group. Also school stress scale was carried out. And then the test results were analyzed by SPSS WIN 20.0. It was found out that there was a significant improvement(t=-4.07, p< .05) in the attention of children using community child center. Also It was found out that there was a significant reduction(t=3.656, p< .01) in the school stress of children using community child center. Therefore, it is possible to say that group music therapy is effective in the improving on attention and reducing school stress of children using community child center.
