본 논문은 범교과 주제 중 하나인 안전․건강 교육으로서 안전사고 예방을 위하여 미술과 융합한 넛지디자인 지도 방안을 모색한 것이다. 우리의 생활이 나날이 편리하고 풍요로워지고 있지만 사소한 부주의와 안전에 대한 인식 부족으로 사회 전반에 걸쳐 크고 작은 안전사고가 일어나고 있다. 이에 안전사고를 예방할 수 있는 넛지디자인의 유용성을 인지시킬 수 있도록 미술과의 체험 영역과 표현 영역을 연계하여 수업을 설계하였다. 특히 안전사고를 예방에 관해서는 토의, 토론을 통하여 문제점을 도출하고, 이를 개선하고 실생활에 적용할 수 있는 넛지디자인을 하게 하였다. 넛지디자인은 시각적 소통을 통하여 사회적 문제나 생활의 문제를 해결할 수 있는 장점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 학생들이 주변 환경의 문제점을 찾고 그것을 해결할 수 있는 넛지디자인을 할 수 있다면 미술교육으로도 충분히 안전사고를 예방할 수 있을 것이다.
The present paper aimed at seeking a teaching method of nudge design which is blended with fine art for the prevention of safety accident which is one of the cross curriculum. Because of the trivial carelessness and the lack of awareness for safety, big and small safety accidents have been occurred all over the areas in the society, although our lives have got more convenient and bountiful day by day. Therefore, the writer made the classes of Experience Areas and Expression Areas in the department of Fine Art connected and designed them in order to help the students to be aware of the usefulness of nudge design that can prevent safety accidents. Especially, the problems were drawn out via their discussion on the prevention of safety accident and nudge design was set up to improve the problems and apply them to the real life. Nudge design has the merit of solving social problems or problems that happen in the daily life via visual communication. Accordingly, it is thought that fine art education alone can prevent the safety accidents if the students could seek the problems of their daily environments and do a nudge design that could resolve them.
