The purpose of this study is to investigate the alignment between 2015 revised elementary science curriculum and the teacher’s guidebooks’ lesson learning objectives as well as the alignment between 2015 revised elementary science curriculum and textbook questions. For the purpose, Grade 3·4 curriculum standards in 2015 revised science curriculum and learning objectives in teacher’s guidebooks were analyzed, based on the revised Bloom’s taxonomy. The alignment was calculated by using Poter’s alignment index and topographical map. The textbook questions were also analyzed to investigate how these questions are closely linked to the curriculum standard. This study found that the alignment index between curriculum standards and learning objectives is 0.85. Also, in 12 out of 17 units, the textbook questions are linked to the curriculum standards in an appropriate manner. Based on the results, implications for the textbook developers were suggested.
